A late bloomer, Jonathan began dancing at the ripe age of 27 after making a new years resolution to learn. After bopping around different schools and clubs, he began taking classes with Tianne Frias and Ricardo Tellez in San Francisco. After a year of classes and social dancing he joined Rica Salsa as an understudy and performed at the 2012 Los Angeles congress in May.
Taking a break from dance to focus on career goals, Jonathan nonetheless took time to study Baroque drawing under Oakland artist David Hardy and figure drawing under Andy Ameral and learned the real meaning of work and professionalism. April of 2014 Jonathan returned to dance and joined Afinkao productions. Short on experience and technical training but big on ambition and focus, Jonathan plans to mature into a capable dancer and enjoy the ride wherever it takes him.
